Our collective relationship to place
An image from the online theatre experience
"I feel like, I know a place. How can I come to know it differently?"
Memory Lies (Cuimhne Bréaga as Gaeilge) is an exploration of what our collective relationship to place is, has been, and could be. How this sense of place is now being rapidly altered and how we as individuals can re-engage with these spaces anew. A city-wide audio exploration that combines live theatre experiences with smart interfaces and immersive soundscapes.
This project had some initial development in March 2020 through the *Interaction Galway 2020* programme. This early development focused on the effects of a prolonged lockdown on society and was a home experience.
